KZJL launched on June 2, 1995 is an Estrella TV O&O channel licensed to and broadcasting in Houston, TX. Liberman Broadcasting is the owner of channel 61 broadcasting from studios located on Bering Drive on the city’s southwest side with transmitter installed in unincorporated northeastern Fort Bend County near Missouri City.

History
KZJL hit the waves on June 2, 1995 as a Shop at Home affiliate and was purchased by Liberman Broadcasting in 2001. On Sep 14, 2009, it as a Spanish language station switched its affiliation and became an Estrella TV, a Spanish network owned and operated by Liberman Broadcasting.
On June 12, 2009, Ch 61 shut down its analog signal and went digital in a transition sponsored by federal regulatory authority. It however retained its pre-transition digital UHF channel 44. Videos, entertainment shows and Spanish language programs including RICA Famosa Latina, 100 Latinos dijeron, Nuevo Horario, Noticiero Estrella TV, Estudio 2, Tumba Burros, Historias Delirantes and others can be watched online.
