WFXG Fox 54 News Live is an American television station licensed to Augusta, Georgia in the United States of America. This station is affiliated with Fox, a broadcasting network, which is a subsidiary of 21st Century Fox.

WFXG is branded and publicly known as Fox 54 or Fox 54 News Now. Basically, It is the virtual channel 54 and the UHF digital channel 31.

The studios for this station are located on Washington Road in the Lamkin section of Martinez, while its transmitter is located in Beech Island, in South Carolina’s Spiderweb section.

The subchannels of this station are Fox, Bounce TV, and Grit TV. WFXG is a sister station to WCSC-TV, WTOC-TV, WIS, WSFX-TV, WECT, WMBF-TV and WBTV. Fox 54 goes by the slogan “Your News Now.”

WFXG was founded in October 1989 although it got officially signed on in 1991. It was instantly affiliated with Fox right after.

Back then it was owned by Augusta Family Broadcasting, Inc. Retlaw Broadcasting purchased the station in 1998, and a year later it was acquired by Fisher Communications.

In 2011, the station went to American Spirit Media. After that, it was directly and fully bought over by Raycom later that year.


Divorce Court

A venerable courtroom show that revolves around usual or unusual divorce issues and disputes. The settlements are alone by an American lawyer Lynn Toler after hearing both sides of the story.

Though canceled a number of times, it has reached over 5700 episodes since 1957.


Another syndicated tabloid talk show broadcasted on Fox. It is hosted by Maury Povich.

This show has quite a resemblance to The Steve Wilkos Show in a few ways. Tackling volatile issues, interacting with guests via discussions, lie detectors, and even DNA tests, Maury takes a new approach to common problems. It is less violent and focuses more on emotion and dramatics.

Since 1991, Maury has had a run of 26 seasons worth of nearly 2700 episodes.
