KINC branded as Univision Las Vegas is a Spanish language station that broadcasts in Las Vegas, Nevada. Launched in Jan 1996, the station is owned by Entravision Communications and is stationed at Pilot Road in the community of Paradise. KELV and KMCC broadcasting on Ch 27 and Ch 34 are the sisters of the station. Its transmitter is installed on Mt. Arden. KWWB-LP and KNTL-LP located in Mesquite and Laughlin are the low-power translators used by the service

History
A construction permit was granted y FCC to Tierra Alta Broadcasting, Inc. on May 22, 1992. The original ERP approved for the channel was 5000 kW and KZIR were the calls assigned in Nov 1993. However, the under construction station would apply for reduction in effective radiated power to 1145 kW and relocation of transmitter side to KFBT tower. The call letters change t to KINC was also applied and approved with other changes. KINC premiered in Jan 1996 and was licensed the in the November later that year. Its analog facilities were turned off in June 2009 and transitioned to digital signal.
Tierra Alta Broadcasting sold KINC to Entravision Holdings, LLC in Dec 1996; the transfer was approved by Federal Communications Commission in April 1997. Entravision took control of the operations a month later after their purchase. The Spanish language broadcaster started HD services in June 2010 during 2010 FIFA World Cup. Local newscasts and Univision programming were also converted into high definition.
Programming
Most of the content aired by the Univision Las Vegas comes from the Univision’s national feed. However, the service does hold its own news operations which broadcast the highest rated locally produced Spanish news in the Sin City. In 2006, the channel aired both Democratic and Republican Nevada debates translated and subbed in Spanish. It currently broadcasts two live news-bulletins on weekdays for the Nevada Spanish audiences. Noticias Univision Nevada a Las Once presented by Benjamin Zamora and Nathaly Alcala and Noticias Univision Nevada a Las Seis hosted by Nathaly Alcala and Gabriel Preciado are the flagship local newscasts produced by KINC.
